Hello Resident

Unfortunately, over the weekend, a burglary was reported in your local area. Whilst the offenders were unsuccessful in stealing anything on this occasion, we would like to remind residents of the importance of maintaining good home security.

The offenders attempted to gain access to the property via the rear door using tools. We would encourage all residents to ensure that doors and windows are locked and secure at all times. Sheds, garages, and other outbuildings should also be secured, with any tools stored safely, as offenders may use these to gain entry to your property.

Installing or maintaining suitable lighting at the front and rear of your address can also act as an effective deterrent against opportunistic criminals.

We are currently carrying out a number of CCTV enquiries in the area. If you have CCTV or video doorbell footage, we would be grateful if you could review any recordings from 3 October at around 8:00pm and contact us if you notice anything suspicious or unusual.
